Find the difference
Last week our MT Chemical Contender was in Drydock in Varna for her 1st special survey which is done after 5 years. The drydocking was the right moment for us to apply a revolutionary Graphite Hull Coating.
This coating is known for its friction reducing abilities, which (in short) will lead to reduced fuel consumption and eventually less CO2 emissions. Furthermore, also a Boss Cap Fin was installed (the little propellor on the main propellor: see picture), which is also a measure to reduce the emissions of this vessel. All these improvements are leading to a more sustainable shipping industry and therefor we continue to invest in emission reducing measures.
